My name is Kirsten Schankweiler. I am a contemporar abstract artist. I have been painting full-time since 2011. 

 

Nature in its infinite variety is the inspiration and source of ideas for my abstract works. My works express my feelings, experiences, thoughts and dreams. They are created in an intuitive process. I love experimenting with colors and materials, transforming and abstracting my work layer by layer.

My aim is to create paintings with harmony and positive energy. My goal is to create expressive works that touches the viewer and allows him to discover something new even after a long time. Compositions that stimulate the imagination and leave the viewer room for their own interpretations.
